Love these shoes. Nice room for the toes and I love shoes with a wide toe box. Awesome vegan shoe. Felt good riding too.
This was the third Scout I bought. Beautiful design, comfort and as light as it gets. Recommended
Design an color are great! Don't know why there were leftovers ^_^ but hey: good for me!
I was surprised though to notice that it's the only color in the collection without ventilation holes. I wonder why. The Insole feels a little bit different than in my other Marana Michelin but it is a comfortable shoe anyway. Recommended.
I like the belt but it’s too wide for Dickies. The metal end gets caught in the belt loop and pulls off the belt.
I love the Andy Andersons. Fresh out of the box they are ready to skate in. The only thing that the shoe might need in the future. Possibly some type of air ventilation on the side of the shoe. The strap on top works great. But traps in some heat. Other than that its one if the greatest shoes.
Wearing an older model of this shoe because I live in China, and it’s hard to get ahold of this updated model here. I love that this shoe offers mid-ankle support, lace guard, and now the reinforced toe cap. I think Andy wants this for protection and durability on truck stands and caspers, but this also offers knee slide protection on vert ramps. Soooo, let’s go all out and make a high top version for all the mid-aged transition skaters who want just a little more ankle support. I can’t be the only guy who would buy the heck out of that shoe!
These shoes run very small. Bought my regular size and they fit a full size smaller. Very disappointing as i cannot return.
They sent me these with green laces! They are pictured as black laces and look much better. I contacted them twice and no reply.
After an initial use I can speak to everything but longevity: I like the weight of the fabric—thin enough to breathe well at up to 80 degrees, but thick enough to take the edge off of road rash. Thoughtfully designed crotch gusset and loose in all the right places throughout the leg. Range of motion is great. They are tastefully baggy, but tapered at the cuff so they’re not going to trip you up. The pockets are generously sized and positioned appropriately so that your stuff won’t be bouncing around while you’re walking or skating. I’m a big Andy fan and saw him talking about these on Dan Corrigan’s channel and pretty much ordered them immediately. No regrets. I might even get a second pair. One piece of criticism for future versions is that I’d like a longer zipper. It’s a bit tight to take a leak without undoing the button.
