These look great, but not so comfy. I've got wide feet, the toe box on these is thin to begin with, but the area where all the stitching comes together, on either side of the foot right there at the last lace loop-hole - that stitching digs into both sides of my feet. Had to stretch these out manually. Normal break-in / everyday wear would not have gotten these to a tolerable width at the beginning of the toe box. If you've got narrow feet, these will probably be perfect. Look great and have tons of padding in the sole. The grip fine and skate well. But if you've got wide feet, I'd pass, unless you dig the style and are willing to take time to stretch em out.
Drawing inspiration from etnies skate heritage, the RVM features the classic etnies Rap styling on a mid-top silhouette with a vulcanized outsole. The RVM also boasts an STI Foam Lite Level 2 footbed for added comfort and protection, a triple-stitched toe cap and a padded tongue and collar. Sound comfortable? Well there’s more. The RVM even includes System G2 inserted into the heel for more cushioning protection.
- Die Cut EVA Insole

- Herringbone Outsole For Traction
Lovely looking well made but .came up really tight on the sides shoes are very narrow . Like theses high top shoes but the new design makes them stiff . The olderstyle had a loop at the toe area giving it more flexabilitty but now that it's in one piece it's made it narrow bring back the older style shoe .
these shoes are very nice, took maybe a week to break in but they feel great now and fit exact to size!!
If you’re looking for a wider shoe, these are the ones for you. Well made, stylish and value for money. I for one hope RVM’s will always be available to buy.
I've had them in blue and white, and I'm wearing these ones in black for half a year now. Most amazing shoes I've ever worn! The level of comfort, both walking and skating is absolutely amazing! I never thought I could actually love a pair of shoes so much! Etnies for life!
Best Etnies shoe by far! Insanely comfortable and stylish as well. Etnies, please bring back the other colors!
I love the RVM series, I have been with the series since the "RVM Joe Gavin" edition, my favorite all day shoes and skate shoes too from Etnies, one of the all around best they ever made. I hope they will continue the series and make more models or bring back the old ones because I can't find the old models anymore. They are very comfortable and not too heavy, also the ankles stays in place when laced properly, also the rubber soles are very good. I think the RVM series is the best mid-height shoes you will find out there.
The most comfortable shoes I ever wear!!! :)
Really comfortable padding, and great support... a true classic.
...made in China, but solid as rock.
80's HxC skaters need the extra cushion these shoes got. Do not discontinue this model!
Shoes like back in those days. Super comfy. I do own two pairs of Scout's, too and those appear to be lowcost footwear compared to the RVM
Brilliant hard wearing trainer which is not too 'loud'. Good wide fit and true to size.
The shoes are super good I wish they had the low top ones though
