etnies BMX at Nora Cup Awards 2017

September 29, 2017

Ride BMX’s NORA Cup Awards is a prestigious honor in the world of BMX that recognizes the industry’s top riders and films each year. Now in the award ‘s twenty-first year, the coveted NORA Cup Awards still remains the industry’s most prestigious platform to recognize the greatest BMX performances of the year. Each award is ultimately hand picked by the pros themselves, while the loyal readers of Ride BMX choose the Readers Choice Award.

During the 2017 Ride BMX NORA Cup Awards, the etnies BMX was fortunate enough to sweep the ceremony by being honored with FOUR awards! Nathan Williams took BOTH Street Rider of the Year and  Video Part of the Year with the first back-to-back two years in a row double NORA Cup wins for Street + Video Part! With well-deserved wins, Nathan won the award by a landslide both years in a row. Ruben Alcantara humbly bagged the Legend Award as easily one of the most influential and legendary figures in BMX history. Last but not least, the highly anticipated third installment in the etnies BMX film legacy, etnies Chapters, took home the 2017 Video of the Year! Thank you to Ride BMX for putting this on, Source BMX for hosting, DIG BMX for supporting, thank you to each one of our fans for the loyal support, to each individual that was involved in creating this film [ESPECIALLY the filmmakers, Mike Manzoori & Will Stroud] and thank you to the riders who dedicated themselves to this film and the brand over the many years. Thank you.
