This is a good looking shoe. I get compliments from people when I wear these out and a friend asked me the make and model so that he could get his own pair, which has rarely happened with any of my skate shoes in the past, core and corporate alike. I took off one star because the padding is wholly insufficient for me, but I knew that going in. I replaced the stock insole with a Footprint 5mm Kingfoam insole. After an hour-long session of break in, they feel nice and grippy on the board. These could be an option for people with wider feet and/or a high instep. The understated ollie patch is a big plus for me as well.

Coming from someone who is already a huge Jameson Vulc fan, these midtops are simply perfection. They are slightly sturdier that the lowtops and break in within just a couple of days. Highly recommend to any Jameson Vulc fan.

Was looking for a mid top boot a bit different to others, with good grip to race and jump BMX. Quick efficient easy to order from Etnies and am pleased with product. My previous ones were Etnies Ruben which lasted several years due to not riding much but soles got pretty slippy on Ruben pedals so glad of the new waffle design. Cheers.
